* 삶의 만남
헤어짐과 만남의 경계 위에서
진정한 만남을 찾을 수 있었소.
그를 지나서 돌아보니
실상 헤어짐이란 없음을 깨달았다오.
헤어짐조차 그저 이별과의 만남이었을 뿐이었소.
삶 속에 만남이 있던 것이 아니라
삶이 곧 만남이었음을...
~ ~ ~
* Encounter of Life
Upon the boundary
between parting and meeting,
I was able to find
a true encounter.
Brushing past it,
and looking back,
I came to understand
that there is no such thing as parting.
Even parting itself
was only
a meeting with farewell.
It was not
that there were encounters within life—
that life itself
was an encounter...
