* 혼자서
혼자 걸었어.
말이 다르니
중얼거려도 듣는 사람이 없네.
노천 카페 테이블,
커피와 노트,
그렇게 함께 앉았어.
낯부끄러운 편지도
유치한 메모도
애써 가리지 않으니 느긋해.
낯선 언어의 사람들...
그들 사이에서
나는
편안히 혼자야.
참 좋아.

* Alone
I walked alone.
The language is different,
so no one hears
even when I murmur to myself.
At an outdoor cafe table,
coffee and notebook,
sitting there together.
Embarrassing letters,
childish little notes,
how at ease I feel,
making no effort to hide them.
People speaking unfamiliar languages...
Among them,
I am comfortably alone.
I like it.
