그날, 이 연못을 거닐며
저를 향한 마음이 이 꽃과 같다고 말씀하셨지만
이내 지는 꽃을 보며 못내 서운했었습니다.

헤아리지도 못할 세월들이 지나며
궁궐을 받치던 돌조차 바람에 흩어졌지만
그 꽃은 여전히 이렇게 피어 있습니다.

돌도 바람도 이 여린 꽃잎보다 약한 것이었습니다.
꽃잎에 얹어둔 한마디 언약이 세월을 넘어 이곳에 있습니다.

That day, as we walked along this pond, you told me that your heart for me is like this flower.
But I was disappointed to see the flower soon wither away.

Countless years have passed, even the stones that supported the palace have scattered by the wind.
But the flower is still blooming like this.

The stone and the wind are weaker than these gentle petals.
The single words of promise on the petals is here beyond time.
