삶이 있기에 나의 존재가 있다.
하지만 그 삶으로 인해 나를 찾기 어렵다.

그것은 마치 마주 보는 거울과 같다.
서로가 존재하기에 서로를 볼 수 없다.
나의 존재는 나의 삶으로는 비출 수 없는 그것이다.

나의 가장 깊은 내면은
세상 가장 바깥에 있을지도 모른다.

I exist
because there is life.

And yet,
because it is my life,
I cannot see myself through it.

It is like
two mirrors
facing one another—

because each reflects,
neither can be seen.

What I am
is not something
my life can show me.

It may be
that what is deepest within me
stands at the farthest edge
of the world.
