씨앗 때부터
그의 바람은 꽃이 아니었다.

뿌리를 내리고
줄기를 세우고
잎을 펼쳐 하늘을 향했다.

세상을 만나
마음에 담고
그것을 남겨두고 싶었다.

Even as a seed,
he never wished
to be a flower.

He set down roots,
raised a stem,
unfolded leaves
toward the sky.

He met the world,
held it within,
and wished
to let it remain.
