씨앗 때부터
그의 바람은 꽃이 아니었다.

뿌리를 내리고
줄기를 세우고
잎을 펼쳐 하늘을 향했다.

세상을 만나
마음에 담고
그것을 남겨두고 싶었다.

붉음은 잠시 빌린 것일 뿐.

아름다움은 꽃에만 머무르는 것이 아니니,
열흘을 채우지 않아도
아쉬울 것 없다.

지는 것도
피는 것도
그저 스쳐가는 모습.
 
꽃잎이 바람에 흔들린다.
잡지 않는다.
시간도 꽃도 이미 충분하기에

Even as a seed,
he never wished
to be a flower.

He set down roots,
raised a stem,
unfolded leaves
toward the sky.

He met the world,
held it within,
and wished
to let it remain.

Color
was only borrowed
for a while.

As beauty does not remain
in flowers alone,

even without ten days,
there is nothing
to regret.

Falling,
blooming—
both are
passing forms.

Petals
sway in the wind.

He does not hold them.

Time and the flower—
have already been enough.
