슬퍼하지 마라.
영원하지 않음이
살아 있음이다.
지나가는 새 한 마리
빈 가지에 잠시 앉았다가
날아간다.
새는
돌아보지 않는다.
붙잡고 있었다고 내 것이 아니다.
나무가 새의 것이 아니듯.
~ ~ ~
Do not grieve.
Not being eternal
is what it means to be alive.
A passing bird
rests for a moment
on the empty branch,
then flies away.
The bird
does not look back.
Holding on to something
does not make it mine.
Just as the tree
does not belong to the bird.
